Newcomers Club of the Tri-Cities was founded to help families who have moved to our area (Grand Haven, Spring Lake or Ferrysburg) to make new acquaintances and true and lasting friendships. The Club meets monthly from September through April. Newsletters are published 10 times a year, and include information on our many interest groups. General meetings are held at the United Methodist Church of the Dunes, 717 Sheldon Road, Grand Haven (watch for our banner and enter the nearby door) at 7:30p.m. on the third Monday of each month. A dinner meeting is held in May. Any changes in time or place are published in the newsletter and other publicity outlets. Anyone who is new to the area is welcome to attend the meetings. As a non-profit organization, Newcomers takes an active interests in community service projects and participates in fundraising activities for various charitable and social causes.

Continued...Letter from President
........The month of November reminds us of our many blessings, and with grateful hearts we try in big and small ways to "make a difference" in the lives of others. I would like to thank those Newcomers who supported our annual fall fundraiser for charity, the baby shower for Lakeshore Pregnancy Center. If you were not able to attend the shower, please still consider a donation. It's not too late, and it would be wonderful to have full participation from our membership. I'm writing this in advance of the shower, so will give a full accounting in the December letter...........

Continued....Letter from President
I would like to take time to pay tribute and thank Sue Eldriedge & her husband for having hosted the Newcomer Christmas party for just about as long as we can remember.
Their house is for sale and they did not feel that they could make the commitment to hold the gathering this year. It will be a hard act to follow (WHO does Christmas any better than Sue?), but Linda Qualls has stepped in, agreeing to host us all in their new home. Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 9th. Details in the December newsletter.
The new directories will be available in November. Hopefully you've all paid your dues!
May God continue to bless us all as we celebrate Thanksgiving with family & friends. Travel safe if you're away for the holiday.
